New Programs Introduced¶

Year Summary¶

25th Anniversary of CLR

The opening Sunday Night Campfire was replaced this year with the "CLR Anniversary Pageant". The "pageant" was a historical drama that featured a scout leader (played by Tom Whitton) talking about the history of camp and the light of Friendship (represented by the glow of a lantern) with a young scout (played by Josh Murton).


The pageant was held in the "back 40" area of camp behind the Rifle Range. Electricity was extended back to this area to provide lighting and sound for the pageant. All campers were given a candle and the "light of friendship" was passed at the end.
