Chorus:
My Name is Von Vosson, I live in Wisconsin.
I work as a lumberjack there.
All the people I meet as I walk down the Street they say,
Hey you big Swede, what is your name?
So I tell them.
I was born in Sweden in 1962. I lived there until I was three.
I hoped on a boat, and it stayed afloat, Until I got to this Country.
And all the people on the dock would ask,
Hey you big Swede, what is your name?
So I tell them.
(Repeat chorus)
I went to the schools until I was twelve, then I got a real job.
I made pizzas for Tony who smelled like bologna Man him and his wife they were slobs.
And all the people that came into the restaurant would ask,
Hey you big Swede, what is your name?
So I tell them.
(Repeat chorus)
I worked for old Tony, until I twenty and then I got tired of the smell.
I moved to Wisconsin - Its the land of the cheese.
And boy I like it real well.
And all the locals would inquire,
Hey you big Swede, what is your name?
So I tell them.
(Repeat chorus)
I got a job as a jack, chopping trees down all day.
Some people they said I was dumb.
Well I never believed them, and I wouldnt listen, until I hacked off my thumb.
And all the doctors and nurses asked, Hey you big Swede, what is your name?
So I tell them.
(Repeat chorus)
Sadly, Von Vosson, he died yesterday. He was killed by a big fallen tree.
A lady at the funeral asked, Who is this man?
And he sat up and said, Hey, its me!
The lady asked me, Hey you dead Swede, what is your name?
So I tell them. (Repeat chorus)
